Though it does depend on the book.
totally depends on the volume
I am pretty quick, on my days off I tin read a book or two in an 8 hour window.
I find information technology hard to concentrate for very long periods of time. Besides, I similar stopping every so oft to remember about what I just read, the concluding scene.
I need to *make* myself do that more ofttimes, Ingemar. Thanks for reminding me.
I don't know why, but I timed how long it took me to read ane folio in a book, and on average it's ii minutes... I'thou a relatively slow reader, then this would have me about ten hours...
For me it would be about 4.five hours if I wanted to really go through it fast. Not that I'd call back much , a week or 2 later but 5.5 if I wanted to savor it and relish it more and at least recall something!
information technology would take me 2 weeks
2 weeks or more if i don´t have much fourth dimension
I can't read nonstop...but I exercise read for long periods of time...I finished the host reading it for several hours over 2 days and that is like...yeah.

I can't read non-terminate either, but judging from the pace I read from page to page, information technology would probably take around 10 to 12 hours.

Non voting - it depends on the book and the language.

I'm 13 and then I practise read a little slower and it actually depends on the volume but if its a expert one I'm interested in, 4 hours.

Definitely over 12 hours.... yeah I'm a slow reader... each hunger games book took me about 3 days with a total of probably 5-vi hours each mean solar day.
over 12 hours .. because English isn't my native language and and it totally depends on the book and how mush free time i accept and lately i don't take mush .. schoolhouse and work .. so yeah it sucks .
over 12 hours .. because English isn't my native language and and information technology totally depends on the book and how mush complimentary time i have and lately i don't have mush .. school and work .. so yeah information technology sucks .
definitely iii-6 hours. unless the book doesnt hook me in and I'll simply bring it around and forcefulness myself to stop information technology

Despite my vote, I would say that it actually depends on what I am reading...
Totally depends on the book, but an boilerplate of a folio a minute for me, so 3-6 hours.
The times I've done it, one-3 hours. Books that don't pull me in like that would probably take longer.
Most books, probably about half dozen-7 hours. If information technology'south written James Patterson way, more similar 4.

If information technology's most a book I actually like, then I want to savor it merely I likewise read it nonstop. I would probably finish it in eight-9 hours.

6 hours or then. But it really depends on the book. If the book is not as absorbing my heed may wonder for a bit even though I haven't put the volume down.
definitely depends on the volume.
Only bad affair is that I don't read nonstop:/

Not the quickest. Just it really depends on the book. Some are just easier to read others more interesting than some.

Depends on the book and the language.
message 28: by [deleted user] (new)
If it has corking descriptions I may want to read them over and over to savor them and that takes longer.
message 29: by Lowri (new)
I suppose it would take me less time if I didn't get distracted by other tech like my telephone ... If I didn't accept school I would sit exterior reading until information technology was night ... Then I'd come in and read!
it depends on the book

I totally agree with the others, information technology depends on the volume.

And the language. [native or not]
I'm a fast reader so if I read a 300-folio volume nonstop, information technology will probably take me around 4 hours or then to terminate.
I also agree with others that it depends on the books. Some books are piece of cake and light to read; 150-page chick-lits usually take me around ii hours. Other books require more than attention; reading The Hunger Games book took me one whole afternoon, the classics require a whole solar day, Dan Brown-style books require more. You get the thought.
Sometimes, if I love the book so much, I read them slowly to enjoy each scene. The Harry Potter books took me a week or ii each. Record goes to the HP and the Society of the Phoenix: I finished it in i month. LOL

It actually depends on the book
It actually depends on the volume… Some of them we blaze through because they're so exciting, some of them we take our time because they are so good.
And of course, setting makes a difference as well… When we take peace and quiet, anything goes.
Great Poll!

This totally does depend on the book; if it'southward Dickens, it'll take much longer than a middle grade novel.
and if its Shakespeare, your have to go to a dictionary a lot.

It really depends on the book - some authors are easier to read than others....
iii-iv hours roughly. I just know this because I use to have i of those bookmarks that had a built-in timer.

Are you kidding? I started to read the Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare and finished it in the midnight. I'chiliad not awesome, I was just got insomnia.

That's definitely me. I find myself getting a little restless after a short while of reading. I besides like to stop and think about what I have read.
3-six hours, like well-nigh of the voters ;-)
message 43: by Nadya (new)
it actually depends on the language as well. if the book was written in bahasa indonesia, i need like 3 hours or eveb less. but for the english one, it takes me longer than that. but yeah probably three-6hours. :-)

Today I read two 300 page books in a total of 5 hours. But they were really skillful! I couldn't put them down

If I have a book that is over 370 pages long then it would accept me that long. But 460 pages would have me atleast 14 hours straight

Hhaha. That's sorta funny.
6-9 hours if I could read non stop but and then once again, unless I make up one's mind not to sleep, it is very difficult to read non stop and not be disturbed.
An boilerplate book of 300 pages takes me 1-2 days because unfortunately, I seldom tin can read non cease :-(

If it was Aught but reading, I would approximate virtually three hours. However, every half 60 minutes to hour I need to take a suspension from the book or else I'll just get fidgety and get all too enlightened of other things I need to be doing. Likewise, the type of book may change my answer.
I read slower than average audio book readers read out loud.
